Venus Against the Son of Hercules (Italian: Marte, dio della guerra, also known as Mars, God of War and The Son of Hercules vs. Venus) is a 1962 Italian peplum film written and directed by Marcello Baldi and starring Roger Browne and Jackie Lane

   

"Venus Meets the Son of Hercules" (1962) is another of the 14 peplum (sword and sandal) films included in the syndicated television package, the "Sons of Hercules" assembled by Embassy Pictures

Originally titled, Marte, dio della guerra, it is also known as "Mars, God of War" and "The Son of Hercules vs. Venus."

It starred Roger Browne and was directed by Marcello Baldi. The terrific musical score is by Gino Marinuzzi Jr,
